Shadows can be separated from the body in Haruki Murakami’s book “The City and Its Uncertain Walls .” I was intrigued by the idea that a shadow needs to be part of someone in order to survive.

I decided to make some ceramics based on popular idioms.

This was a school project. The outline was to design an unusual cup. The smoke cloud is removable and serves as a container. CO2 can be captured and used to produce fuels, chemicals, and building materials, offering a pathway to a circular carbon economy. 

This sculptural vase is roughly made out of sculpture clay and has white slip on it.

This large piece was a school project. It was supposed to be a self portrait. I chose to depict my anxiety which is like a wolf ready to devour me. Its made out of sculpture clay with various oxides and underglaze.
